Rudy

Charles and I had the distinct honor of opening for Rudy Giuliani at Washington University a couple of weeks ago. Everyone got to experience Jambo and play with some tech before we handed the stage over to a great man. Another great trip to St. Louis! Here’s a pic from the event:

Jambo Lectures at Stanford

Intel’s 2nd annual “Most Unwired Cities” survey ranks the top 100 US cities and regions for the greatest wireless Internet accessibility. The top 10 were:
1) San Francisco-San Jose-Oakland, CA
2) Orange County, CA
3) Washington, D.C.
4) Austin-San Marcos, TX
5) Portland, OR-Vancuver, WA
6) Seattle-Bellevue-Everett-Tacoma, WA
7) Bergen-Passaic, NJ

Nomad Project

Students warm to Wi-Fi interaction | The Register
A research group has set up a Wi-Fi network on a Dublin university campus to investigate how wireless services affect group interaction.

The Nomad Research team believes that carefully-designed technology can have a positive effect on the way people interact, particularly in developing social capital, or an individual’s sense of belonging in a group.
