D-Day Begins Today!

Last night, Jim and I went to bed to the sounds of rain pouring over Scottsdale mixed with the blaring music of a Bar Mitzvah DJ playing below us. Despite that, I had a terrific sleep as I quickly faded into the softness of my heavenly bed. I woke up to find that the rain had stopped, the clouds had disappeared, and the sun everyone talks about when they go to scottsdale, had returned, charriotting in the beginning of D-Day - DEMO. I grabbed a bagel and went to a yoga class at the hotel. It was great to get the blood flowing. I followed that up with a quick run on the elliptical machine and an amazing steam bath. I was revived and ready to start DEMO on the right foot. On my way back to my room, I ran into Arik Hesseldahl from Forbes. We said he had just been talking with Jim and had tried out our new Mac client with him. It crashed. Wonderful I thought. Arik told me Jim had gone back to the room to try to replicate the crash and fix it before we start giving it out to more people. So, as soon as I get back to the room, I ask Jim how our Mac client is. He wasn't amused. He is stressing out and trying to get our Mac developer on the line. He is also counting down the hours until Mark arrives in Scottsdale to come to the rescue. In the meantime, Jim and I try to replicate it as best we can, but don't seem to be getting anywhere yet. The real D-Day wasn't perfectly executed either, but with a little luck on its side, it was still successful. Time to get some lunch.
