We're Launching at DEMO!

After 15 months of hard work, it's really happening. We are going to launch Jambo on stage at DEMO@15 between Feb 13-16 in Scottsdale, AZ. We are going to do it in front of about 600-800 people which includes the top business and tech press, VCs, global Fortune 2000 senior executives, and other early-stage entrepreneurs like ourselves. This is the scariest and most exciting thing that has happened since my friend Jim and I reunited and started this company . . . . (aside from a recent ski trip in Crested Butte, CO where I was skiing with one of our investors, Jake, and fell on the headwall for about 40 feet, did three somersaults with one ski on over several protruding rocks and tree stumps as Jake watched his investment slide down the mountain.)

Between now and DEMO, we need to not only get our product ready, but ourselves too. We have only six minutes on the stage at demo to tell our story - not a lot of time. We will need to rehearse, rehearse, rehearse to ensure we make the most of this opportunity and to create some buzz around our technology.

Since DEMO requires that we launch at the event, we can't talk about our product until then. However, Jim and I thought we could talk about this experience, preparing for our product launch at DEMO. There are lots of other entrepreneurs out there. We've learned from listening to people we know who have done things like this before and we think other people might enjoy seeing what we go through.

So, we're starting this blog to share the experience of getting ready for this launch.

If you find this interesting, please leave a comment. Tell us what we can tell you. Give us advice on how to present better. Share with us experiences you've had launching products.
